Purpose... passion... creativity... we want to honor it all! But, we can’t separate you from the noise if we don’t receive your submission.
 
We know there are incredible innovators across the academic community, and through National CyberWatch Center's Innovations in Cybersecurity Education program, you can now receive proper recognition for your hard work! Now in its third year, the program works to provide educators with the collaboration space and collective memory they need to create the most effective programs in cybersecurity.
 
What the Program Can Do for You: 
  • Provide a platform for capturing, documenting and recognizing innovative ways cybersecurity education is taught
  • Disseminate your innovations through the annual “Innovations in Cybersecurity Education” publication, with your contributions appearing on the National CyberWatch website, in monthly newsletter articles, in upcoming journals, promoted at conferences, in robust social media campaigns, and distributed to a variety National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded national cybersecurity centers/projects
  • Reinforce support for creative solutions to educational challenges, and help foster a climate for positive change in methods and techniques for teaching cybersecurity
  • Provide cybersecurity educators with a growing inventory of programs and innovators to help create a Community of Practice which will grow and expand over time 
 
Top picks will be selected for each of the following categories:
  • Evidence-based Strategies
  • Instruction
  • Practice
  • Program Development
 
A review panel of educators will evaluate all submissions. Awardees will be acknowledged during the opening plenary session at the 2019 Community College Cyber Summit (3CS), July 30-August 1, in Shreveport/Bossier, Louisiana!
